Healthcare Investment

Healthcare and life sciences investment experience through a Hong Kong-based private family office, covering medical devices, diagnostics, therapeutics, biotechnology and growth-stage healthcare businesses across Asia. Transaction experience during this period included leading the proposed acquisition of a Taiwan-based laboratory business as part of a broader North Asia healthcare strategy.

Nova Satra Dx / INEX Innovate

Co-founder of Nova Satra Dx, a Singapore molecular diagnostics business backed by Genting Berhad. In 2019, Nova Satra Dx merged with INEX Innovations Exchange in a US$72 million transaction to create INEX Innovate, establishing a regional platform across women's health, molecular diagnostics and advanced laboratory services.

Under Kane's leadership, the group expanded rapidly into Malaysia, developed partnerships in Cambodia which became one of its largest overseas markets, and entered licensing and commercialisation relationships with institutions including A*STAR, the National University of Singapore and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

iGene Laboratory

Strategic development of iGene Laboratory, a Singapore molecular diagnostics and next-generation sequencing business. iGene was among the first three private laboratories to support Singapore's national COVID-19 response in partnership with Temasek, while also expanding regionally through the establishment of PT iGene Laboratory Indonesia with Indonesia-listed PT Itama Ranoraya Tbk.

In 2023, the laboratory received the President's Certificate of Commendation for its contribution to Singapore's COVID-19 response.

Ikigai Ventures / Dotlines Global

Leadership of the transaction strategy at London Stock Exchange-listed Ikigai Ventures, culminating in the acquisition of Dotlines Group and Audra Solutions and the admission of Dotlines Global to AIM in May 2026 at a market capitalisation of £57.9 million.
